Safety and Handling Precautions
Ensure the module is stored or operated in environments where it is not in contact with agressive solvents, acids, bases or corrosive gases
Exceeding absolute maximum ratings even for a short time can cause permanent damage of the module
The module is sensitive to and can be broken by ESD (static electricity), thus all the necessary precauthions should be made (usage of antistatic mat, wrist bracelet, clothes etc.)
Laser diode module should be attached to an appropriate heatsink. Low-noise current source should be used for driving laser diode. For the modules with TEC an appropriate thermal controller should be used.
