Introducing Our pigtailed PIN Photodiodes
Check out our collection of PIN photodiodes with operation frequencies up to 20 GHz, low dark current and impressive dynamic range. We offer fiber-coupled InGaAs and Si photodiodes. You can pick from Single-Mode (SM), Polarization-Maintaining (PM), or Multimode (MM) optical fibers, depending on your needs.
Choose the right package for you:
Compact Coaxial with Bracket (COAXB) or without Bracket (COAX): these are small and easy to mount.
You can also ask for specific fiber lengths or connector types to match your needs.
Photodiodes are assembled with optical fibers using two technologies (more information here):
Low back-reflection (R50): extremely small back-reflection to optical fiber
Refractive Index Matching (RM): increased responsivity and polarization insensitivity
Our fiber-coupled PIN photodiodes are great for both equipment makers (for example, PIDS = Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems and radio-over-fiber / microwave photonics applications) and researchers.
